Tallaght's location at the foothills of the Dublin and Wicklow Mountains acts as an ideal starting point for you to explore or take in the great outdoors. Tallaght has over 280 hectares of parklands, including two regional parks and a selection of neighbourhood and local parks. In addition, the Dublin Mountains Way starts in Sean Walsh Park, providing you with direct access to approximately 40 kilometres of waymarked mountain trails. 

Whether you want to go for a walk, run, cycle, play some sports, bring the kids to the playground or just take in the outdoors, Tallaght has you spoilt for choice, with 3 swimming pools, a Par 3 golf course, leisure centre, sports clubs, gyms, astroturf playing pitches, playgrounds and a range of community centres.
