The area has excellent walking and cycling options, with a network of cycle routes and a new bike rental system, making travelling on foot or by bicycle a healthy transport option. This is supported by the planned Dodder Greenway between Bohernabreena Valley and Dublin City via Tallaght, which has great potential for walking and cycling opportunities in the future.
For those wishing to drive, Tallaght benefits easy access to the M50, N81, N4 and N7.
In looking to the future, a new Bus Rapid Transport system will offer you a fast and reliable route between Tallaght and Dublin City via Rathfarnham and Terenure. Planned orbital bus routes will also connect Tallaght with Clondalkin, Grange Castle Business Park, Lucan and Blanchardstown, providing you with further commuting, employment and retail options.
